I paint from life outdoors or indoors sometimes a few strokes of graphite and sometimes using photographs as reference. Then the watercolor is applied to give volume and depth. The plant and or flower takes center stage without any distractions of a foreground or background. Nature is the focus because Nature gives us the oxygen and food to exist ergo is my inspiration!
